A poignant reminder of the sacrifices the youth of Australia made in the 60s & 70s to stop the tide of red menace as fallaciously advocated by the then politicians. When we forget history we are doomed to repeat it - George Santayana. Was enroute to Phillip Island and perchance upon the banner leading to this place. Being based at Vung Tau for the past 17 years and seeing the influx of Aussie Veterans to the Cross of Long Tan come every August 18 : this was a serendipitous discovery. Need more publicity for this museum please . The greatest casualties in a day for diggers since Gallipoli

What a wonderful museum to visit with the family. The volunteers were so welcoming and informative. They even allowed the kids to hop into the helicopter to take photos. The kids were given a scanning device that made it more interactive for them. A great place to visit to gain a better understanding of what the veterans and people of the time all went through.

Great for all ages. Wonderful, informative and helpful staff. So much to see and learn. Stopped here on the way to Cowes and so glad we did. More than a museum, it's a magnificent learning experience. Absolutely worth visiting.

What a gem, great display with lots of historical info. The video display with the use of props and special effects is one of the best I have seen.

The amount of artifacts and memorabilia that they have here is amazing. Such an immersive and well informed Museum, could easily get lost in here for hours.
